Glossary
The reader's vocabulary, defined for the reader who arrived through a brokerage app. Slang appears here so it need not appear in the chrome.
- bonding curven.
- A pricing formula in a launchpad contract that raises a token’s price as more of it is bought. Buyers pay the curve, not one another, until the curve is full.
- bundlern.
- A party that buys a token from many addresses at once, usually in the block it launches, so that one holder appears to be many. Counted here as one.
- graduationn.
- The moment a launchpad token’s curve fills and its liquidity moves to a public pool. Nothing is taught.
- launchpadn.
- A service that issues new tokens on a bonding curve for a fee. Six operate on Robinhood Chain; they are named by their proper names in this paper.
- Layer 2n.
- A network that processes transactions off Ethereum and settles them back to it. Robinhood Chain is one, built on the Arbitrum stack.
- liquidity pooln.
- A contract holding two assets, such as a token and ETH, that lets anyone trade one for the other at a price set by their ratio. Called “pool” after first mention.
- rugn., v.
- The removal of a token’s liquidity by its issuer, leaving holders with a token and nowhere to sell it. This paper writes “liquidity was withdrawn” and records who withdrew it.
- snipern.
- A trader whose transaction lands in the first block of a launch, typically by automation. Distinguished from a bundler by using one address, and by admitting it.
- Stock Tokenn.
- A token on Robinhood Chain that tracks a listed equity and settles in USDG. The purpose the chain was built for, per its operator.
- span verifiedadj.
- Of a claim in this paper: the quoted supporting text was found at the source address at build time, and its hash was recorded. Compare cited.
